Old Capitol Museum and Museum of Natural History announce holiday hours
The Old Capitol Museum and the Museum of Natural History, both located on the University of Iowa Pentacrest, will operate under special hours over the winter break, including closures for maintenance.

The two museums will be open Dec. 27-31 to provide a safe, warm, and fun place for children and families to explore during the winter break. Both will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1-13 for maintenance.

The museums will resume regular hours on Saturday, Jan. 14. Regular hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Both museums are be closed Mondays and national holidays.
