'Miracle Treats' to benefit UI Children's Hospital Aug. 11
Ice cream lovers can help University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network during the fifth annual "DQ Miracle Treat Day" on Thursday, August 11.
Proceeds from the sale of every Blizzard that day will go to the Children's Miracle Network to help support UI Children's Hospital. Children's Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals.
Those who wish to participate but can't make it to a Dairy Queen on Aug. 11 may contact Children's Miracle Network to purchase a $5 medium Blizzard coupon redeemable at participating locations through Sept. 11.
Last year on Miracle Treat Day participating Dairy Queens throughout the United States and Canada raised more than $4 million for children's hospitals nationwide.
