UI QuickCare-Coralville to open Sept. 20

UI QuickCare, a walk-in health care clinic offered by University of Iowa Health Care, will open a new location on Monday, Sept. 20, at 2510 Corridor Way, Suite 6A, in Coralville, just north of the Coralridge Mall. Free parking is available at the new site, called UI QuickCare-Coralville.

UI QuickCare is available to anyone age 6 months or older who has a common illness or condition not serious enough for an emergency room visit, but is not able to see their regular doctor. No appointment is needed to visit any of four convenient locations in Johnson County.

UI QuickCare provides services for common illnesses such earache, strep throat, pink eye, sinus infection and flu. Payment is due at the time of service, and cash, checks and debit or credit cards are accepted. Most insurance plans are also accepted.

Extended evening and weekend hours are available at UI QuickCare-Coralville, which is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The clinic is closed from 1:30 to 2 p.m. daily.

Three other UI QuickCare locations are UI Quick Care-Old Capitol Towne Center; UI QuickCare-East, at 1843 Lower Muscatine Road in Iowa City; and UI QuickCare-North Liberty, located at 3 Lions Drive in North Liberty.
