Local student named Tippie Outstanding Scholar at University of Iowa
(Student name) of (hometown), has been selected as a Tippie Outstanding Scholar by the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie College of Business and is one 18 entering first-year students who have been awarded over $30,000 in scholarships for fall 2010.
(Student) is a member of the Tippie Scholars Program, a select group of first-year students admitted directly to the Tippie College of Business. The Tippie Scholars Program awards up to three Outstanding Scholar awards on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Each of these scholarships is renewable for up to four years or graduation, whichever comes first, provided the students maintain a 3.33 University of Iowa grade point average and remain enrolled in the Tippie College of Business.
