Frey Law honored by American Physical Therapy Association
Laura Frey Law, Ph.D., assistant professor of physical therapy and rehabilitation science at the UI Carver College of Medicine, has received the Eugene Michels New Investigator Award from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
In particular, Frey Law was honored for her independent research in musculoskeletal pain and fatigue. She received her award, including $1,500, at the association's national meeting in June.
Established in 1989, the annual award commemorates Eugene Michels, APTA's associate executive vice president for research and education, who died in 1996. Michels sparked APTA's plans to foster research in physical therapy.
