College of Liberal Arts and Sciences names new advisory board members
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has added three new members to the Dean's Advisory Board, a group of 23 alumni who work with Dean Linda Maxson to advance the college's mission and strategic goals.
Carolyn Green, (B.M. 1973, music), is the manager partner and CEO of EnerGreen Capital Management, LLC, a private equity firm focusing on companies involved in energy and environmental technology. Prior to founding EnerGreen, Green was vice president of health, environment and safety for Sunoco, Inc.
Howard Kerr, Jr. (B.A. 1960, general science), served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1960-81 in numerous positions, including naval aide to President Ford. Kerr earned M.A. and M.A.L.D. degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, in 1967 and 1968. Kerr is a director of Van Kampen Investments. Previously, he was president and CEO of Pocklington Corp. Inc., an investment holding company.
V. Hale Starr (M.A. 1976, Ph.D. 1978, communication and theatre), is president and owner of Starr Litigation Services, Inc., a litigation research and consulting firm. Starr is a founding member of the American Society of Trial Consultants.
