UI Police changing decal type, location on Nite Ride van

Beginning this weekend, the dark blue van used for the University of Iowa's Nite Ride program will bear three vinyl decals, one each on the left and right passenger-side windows, and one on the rear window, rather than five magnetic decals. The move is intended to make the decals more permanent and visible.

Operated by the UI Police Department, Nite Ride offers women who call 384-1111 free, safe rides home from 11 p.m. Fridays to 3 a.m. Saturdays and 11 p.m. Saturdays to 3 a.m. Sundays. More information, including a link to the route map, is available at
