Preparing to work for industry is subject of talk Oct. 25

"Preparing to Work for Industry: An Employer's Perspective" is the title of a free talk by Michael Greene, software and solutions group director of power performance and simulation technologies at Intel Corporation, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at the University of Iowa. The public talk will take place in the Bijou Theater, Room 166, of the Iowa Memorial Union.

Greene is an engineer who currently specializes in recruiting and retaining minorities at the corporate level. Since joining Intel in 1990, he has worked on design, quality, reliability, architecture planning, and technical marketing teams. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

The talk, a Diversity Executive in Residence Lecture, is co-sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Department of Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Engineering Ethnic Inclusion Effort.
