'Piano Sundays' series continues Nov. 18 at Old Capitol Museum

The University of Iowa's "Piano Sundays" series continues at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the Senate Chamber of the Old Capitol Museum with a concert featuring four students from the University of Iowa School of Music.

Meara Oberdieck, Victoria Tsangari, Joshua Russell and Jikyung Kam will perform on a recently acquired 1878 Steinway grand piano. The program includes selections by Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann and Frederick Chopin. The concert is free and open to the public.

UI School of Music, the Old Capitol Museum and West Music have collaborated to bring this new music series to the Iowa City community during the 2007-08 academic year.
