UI Presidential Search Committee To Meet Friday, May 25
The University of Iowa Presidential Search Committee will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, May 25 in N304 (Dean's Conference Room) of the UI College of Dentistry.
The committee will meet in open session to address a number of matters on the agenda. Following the open session, the meeting is expected to move into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code § 21.5(1)(i) to evaluate confidential materials involving the professional competency of potential candidates for the presidency of the university, and pursuant to Iowa Code §21.5(1)(c) to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation.
The committee expects to return to open session at approximately 3 p.m. to adjourn.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Open session. Items for discussion and/or action: (i) acceptance of minutes meetings of May 15 and May 18, 2007; (ii) updates from committee members; and (iii) initiation of discussion of logistics for final interviews.
2. Request for closed session to evaluate confidential materials involving the professional competency of potential candidates for the presidency of the university, and to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation.
3. Return to open session at approximately 3 p.m. to adjourn.
