Women Invited To Participate In Health Study

Women age 18 and older who have been with a male partner for at least three months -- married or unmarried -- are invited to participate in a research study at the University of Iowa.

Prospective participants must have experienced at least one major argument in the last few months that has led to pushing, grabbing, throwing or similar types of physical conflict.

The purpose of the study is to learn more about what women living in Iowa want and need in their communities in terms of support services. Participants will be interviewed about their wellbeing, physical health, mood, stress and relationships with friends, romantic partners and family.

Compensation up to $125 will be provided for five, 60-minute sessions, scheduled at each participant's convenience. The sessions may be scheduled over the course of one year.

For more information call 319-335-2837 or send an e-mail to and mention "Women's Health Study."
