UI Children's Hospital, CMN To Dedicate Neonatal Care Unit July 25
WHAT: Dedication, ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the new Neonatal Care Unit at University of Iowa Children's Hospital within UI Hospital and Clinics
WHO: Leaders with UI Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network; Wal-Mart and Sam's Club representatives

WHERE: Seventh floor of the Roy Carver Pavilion at UI Hospitals and Clinics (via Elevator "D")
The 15-room Neonatal Care Unit at UI Children's Hospital will feature individual rooms for babies who are feeding and growing and transitioning from their earlier acute care. Parents can be with their babies around the clock. Care for babies' transition home is a key focus of the new unit.
The addition was supported by a $1.1 million gift through Children's Miracle Network from Wal-Mart and Sam's Club associates across the region.
Reporters are invited to cover this event. Wal-Mart/Sam's Club representatives will tour the facility following the dedication ceremony. A family whose child was treated in the Neonatal Care Unit also will be available for interviews.
