Health and Science Career Fair Set

The University of Iowa's Pomerantz Career Center will host a health, science and biotech career fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in room C310 of the Pomerantz Center.

Representatives will be in attendance from the UI and from area businesses and organizations: the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Integrated DNA Technologies, the Peace Corps, Sigma-Aldrich, the University of Iowa Hygienic Laboratory, Fort Dodge Animal Health, Health Fitness Corp., Iowa Army National Guard, University of Iowa Recreation Services Wildlife Camps, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. On-campus interviews will be conducted on Thursday Feb. 22 and Friday, Feb. 23.

The Marvin A. and Rose Lee Pomerantz Career Center provides services to UI students and alumni. Services available include career and major exploration, assessment tools, career advising, job and internship search resources such as UI Employment Expo, and an online recruiting system. The Pomerantz Career Center hosts several career fairs annually, career education programs for students, mock interviews and many other programs and services.
