UI Receives Anonymous E-mail Threat Of Pipe Bombs On Campus Grounds

The University of Iowa received an anonymous e-mail threat this morning indicating that four pipe bombs are on campus grounds and buildings, according to Charles Green, assistant vice president for the UI Department of Public Safety.

“If you identify anything suspicious resembling a pipe bomb, please do not approach, evacuate immediately, and call 911,” Green said. “We are not able to verify this threat and are investigating.  If you have any other information, please call 319-335-5022.”
