Wymore Completes Term On UI Admissions Advisory Board

Karla Wymore, a guidance counselor at Mason City High School, recently completed her term on the University of Iowa's Office of Admissions' High School Counselor Advisory Board.

Wymore was one of 15 select high school counselors on the board, which was formed in 1991 to advise the UI Office of Admissions on various issues related to the college admissions process. The board meets on the UI campus twice a year, in April and September. Board members serve for three years.

"Karla's work on the board these past three years has been extremely effective in helping us make the admissions process easier for students," said Kathy Bassett, senior associate director of Admissions. "We'd like to thank him for his long service and help."
