Iowa Red Bull Distributor To Speak At UI Des Moines Event

Zac Voss, owner and founder of Voss Distributing, will be the University of Iowa's Des Moines Entrepreneurial Speaker for May when he discusses the mind of an entrepreneur at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Pappajohn Education Center, 1200 Grand Ave., in Des Moines.

Voss' lecture, "Entrepreneurship: The Mindset," will be preceded by a reception at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. To register in advance, call 800-469-2586, or visit the University of Iowa Alumni Association's Web site at https://www.iowalum.com/lifelonglearning/rsvp/index.html.

Voss graduated from the UI in 2000 with a degree in finance and shortly afterward started Voss Distributing, the exclusive distributor of Red Bull energy drink in Iowa.

The May 3 event is co-sponsored by the UI Alumni Association and the Pomerantz Career Center.
