Ferentz Will Headline Children's Miracle Network Kickoff Luncheon
University of Iowa Head Football Coach Kirk Ferentz will be a featured speaker at the Hawkeye Football Children's Miracle Network Kickoff Luncheon, beginning at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the University Athletic Club, located at 1360 Melrose Ave. in Iowa City.

Proceeds of the event will benefit patients and their families of Children's Hospital of Iowa at UI Hospitals and Clinics and its outreach clinics across the state. Donations to Children's Miracle Network remain in the local region to benefit critically ill and injured children. More than 140,000 children receive care from the pediatric specialists at Children's Hospital of Iowa and its statewide network of clinics each year.
Children's Miracle Network is an international, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals throughout North America. To date, 135 radio stations and 200 television stations help solicit donations to help support critically ill and injured children.
