UI Tennis Court Project Wins Award

The Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa has awarded University of Iowa Design and Construction Services an award for its work on the outdoor tennis courts at the new West Campus Tennis-Recreation Center.

The association's Recreation Paving Award recognizes UI staff members Larry Bielicke, engineer, and Bill Minor, engineering technician, for quality workmanship in overseeing the project. The project was nominated for the award by L.L. Pelling Contractors, Iowa City.
