Portion Of Hawkins Drive Reduced

A construction project on the University of Iowa campus will move traffic barriers on Hawkins Drive between Stadium Drive and Elliott Drive starting Tuesday, Oct. 18. Traffic will be reduced to a single north-bound lane and two south-bound lanes during construction. All lanes are scheduled to be open for traffic during home football game weekends.

The construction on Hawkins Drive is part of an underground utility steam reconstruction project. This distribution system provides steam to University buildings.
