Dreher Named To Trinity Health Systems Board Of Directors
Melanie Dreher, Ph.D., the Kelting Dean of the University of Iowa College of Nursing, was recently chosen for a three-year term on the board of directors of Trinity Health System, a seven-state network of hospitals and health care providers.
"I'm proud to serve on the board of Trinity Health Systems," Dreher said. "Trinity is a mission-driven health system, guided by values that are fundamental to nursing: eliminating health disparities and promoting wellness. As a public health nurse, the thing I really love about Trinity is its recognition of the importance of community as the source and sustainer of health."
In Iowa, Trinity Health affiliates include the Mercy Health Network comprised of medical centers in Clinton, Dubuque, Dyersville, Mason City, New Hampton and Sioux City. Other states served by Trinity Health System are California, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan and Ohio.
