Summers To Deliver Finding God At Iowa Luncheon Forum
Dr. Robert W. Summers, James A. Clifton Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and director of clinical activities at the Clifton Center for Digestive Diseases at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, will speak at the Finding God at Iowa luncheon forum on Friday, May 6. The lunch forum meets at the River Room 1 of the Iowa Memorial Union from noon to 1 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Summers has studied inflammatory bowel disease for more than 30 years. His studies relate particularly to the field of intestinal motility and has published more than 45 articles. He and his wife Edith are long time members of the First Mennonite Church of Iowa City.
The Finding God at Iowa Lunch Forum began eight years ago to complement the Geneva Lecture Series with brings speakers to the University of Iowa to speak on a variety of topics from a Judeo-Christian perspective.
