MEDIA ADVISORY: UI Law Professor, Palestinian Advisor Is Available To Discuss Arafat Death
Adrien Wing, University of Iowa law professor and long-time legal advisor to the Palestinians and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, is available to discuss the future of the Palestinians and the Middle East peace process in the wake of Arafat's death today.
"The death of Arafat will have profound implications for Israeli-Palestinian relations, the peace process and for the entire Middle East in general," said Adrien Wing, Bessie Dutton Murray professor of law and constitutional law expert who advised the Palestinian Legislative Council as it wrote its Basic Law. She has 22 years of experience in advising Palestinians in legal matters. She is also personally acquainted with Arafat and several of his successors.
