MEDIA ADVISORY: Photos Of Eighth Circuit Judges Can Be Taken Following Session
Media will be allowed to shoot photographs and video of the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals during a question-and-answer session that will follow arguments during the court's appearance at the University of Iowa College of Law Feb. 19.
However, no photos or video can be shot during arguments. Since this will be a formal court session, the rules usually applied in federal courtrooms will be in force.
A three-judge panel of the Eighth Circuit Court will hear three cases coming from Iowa courts when it convenes in the Levitt Auditorium/Courtroom in the Boyd Law Building at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19. Arguments will conclude at approximately 2:40 p.m., and the question-and-answer session will begin shortly afterward.
