Nonprofit Management Academy Offers Seminar On Marketing
The Nonprofit Management Academy announces the ninth monthly seminar in its yearlong series. "Grant Writing" will be presented from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 18 and 19, at the University of Iowa Community Credit Union at 825 Mormon Trek in Iowa City.
This seminar will explore effective ideas for marketing nonprofit organizations and their programs. Participants will learn how to find the best way to spend their organizations' marketing dollars, and how to develop marketing plans for their agencies. The seminar will also cover basics of layout and design to enhance the appearance of promotional materials.
The trainers for the session are Thomas Quinn, Community Development Specialist at Iowa State University (ISU), and Amy Nossaman, County Extension Education Director for ISU Extension.
The fee for the seminar is $40, and CEU credits are available.
The Nonprofit Management Academy is a joint project sponsored by the Women's Resource and Action Center (WRAC) and the Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center at The University of Iowa, Iowa State University Extension, Kirkwood Community College, the Iowa Women's Foundation and the UI Community Credit Union.
