Iowa City Writer Adamson Reads On 'Live From Prairie Lights'
Iowa City writer Eve Adamson will read from her latest co-authored book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Pet Psychic Communication," at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, in the Prairie Lights bookstore at 15 S. Dubuque St. in downtown Iowa City.
The reading will be broadcast on the "Live from Prairie Lights" series, hosted by Julie Englander on UI radio station WSUI, AM 910. Listen on the Internet at http://wsui.uiowa.edu.
The new book, co-written with pet communicator Debbie McGillivray (http://www.animaltelepathy.com), "shows readers how to have a psychic conversation with their pet, help an animal with its emotional scars and fears, connect psychically with a lost pet, learn to scan a pet for pain and communicate with a pet that has passed on."
McGillivary says, "My goal is to take the mystery out of psychic communication with your animal, and help the reader understand how they can develop their own abilities to begin communicating with their own animals."
Adamson has written many magazine articles and books, including as co-author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Yoga With Kids," "Breastfeeding: A Holistic Handbook," "Mediterranean Diet Magic" and "Dachshunds for Dummies." A contributing editor of Dog Fancy magazine, she holds a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from the University of Florida
