Pellegrino Lectures At UI Cancelled Due To Illness
A scheduled visit to UI next month by physician-bioethicist Edmund D. Pellegrino has been cancelled due to illness.
Pellegrino, an authority in the history and philosophy of medicine, professional ethics and the physician-patient relationship, had been invited by the Geneva Lecture Committee to give three lectures Oct. 9 and 10 at the University of Iowa, co-sponsored by the UI Student Government, Department of Religious Studies, the Program in Biomedical Ethics and Medical Humanities and the Literature, Science and the Arts Program.
The lectures may be rescheduled.
