'Making the Sister Connection' Information Fair To Be Held Sept. 10
"Making the Sister Connection," an information and resource fair designed for women students of color, will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the Penn State Room of the University of Iowa's Iowa Memorial Union.
The event, which is sponsored by the Sister Connection Coalition (comprised of members of UI organizations and departments, including the Women's Resource & Action Center, Opportunity at Iowa and Support Service Programs), will offer information and opportunities to meet representatives of campus and community organizations. Refreshments will be served. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
