ZTA Run/Walk To Raise Thousands Of Dollars For Breast Cancer Awareness
The fourth annual Zeta Tau Alpha sorority 5K Run/Walk to benefit breast cancer research, awareness and education will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 in Upper City Park.
More than 800 runners from the Iowa City community participated in the event last year and raised more than $13,000, making it the most successful philanthropic event in the University of Iowa Greek community.
Registration before the event is $15 for UI students and $20 for non-students. Interested runners and walkers can register from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Pentacrest, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 in the basement of the Iowa Memorial Union. Registration forms can also be printed from the ZTA Web site at http://www.uiowa.edu/~zta.
Runners and walkers can also register the day of the event at Upper City Park for $25.
