Disability Awareness Group To Hold Information Fair, Award Ceremony
The University of Iowa Council on Disability Awareness (CDA) will hold a "Circle of Support" Information Fair and its 7th Annual Achievement Awards ceremony Thursday, Oct. 23 in the Iowa Memorial Union's Richey Ballroom.
The Information Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the awards ceremony will be at 1:15 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
The Information Fair will feature employers and representatives from area
businesses, agencies and the university who can discuss what services and
resources they provide for people with disabilities or health conditions
that affect their ability to learn or work.
The event is sponsored by the CDA and the UI Office of the Provost and Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (formerly the Office of Affirmative Action).
