Parents/Partners Day At UI Law School Shows Life Of A Law Student
The University of Iowa College of Law's annual Parents and Partners Day will be Saturday, Oct. 18, giving acquaintances of UI law students a taste of their day.
"This is a great opportunity for students of all classes to show their guests a little flavor of what it is like for us here at Iowa Law," said N. William Hines, dean of the College of Law. The day begins with tours of the Boyd Law Building, a light breakfast and welcoming remarks from Hines. A mock class led by Professor of Law Mark Janis follows.
"We also have a student panel to give a more real picture about what we go through as we cope with school, and also what our friends and loved ones can expect to go through as they cope with us," said Hines.
The annual law school musical will also be held later in the evening.
