UI Dance Department Presents Grad/Undergrad Concert

The University of Iowa Dance Department will present its fall Grad/Undergrad Concert at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 4-6, in the Space/Place Theatre of UI North Hall.

The diverse program, selected by faculty members Charlotte Adams, Jeffery Bullock and Armando Duarte, will feature:
-- "Seed," a group piece by Tom Truss;
-- "Abandoned" by Holly Knights;
-- "Blue" by Debby Andersen;
-- an as-yet untitled piece by Danielle Haney;
-- "Serenade for Goodbye" by Dan Stark;
-- "Lifesigns" by Diego Carrasco;
-- "The bind that bonds" by Tom Truss and Amanda Hamp;
-- "Volunteer" by Amanda Hamp;
-- "A Glimpse" by Sarah Strackany;
-- "Waltzing the House-Wife" by Britt Keel; and
-- "Cygnet..." by Marina Fukushima.

Admission will be $10 ($5 for UI students and free to children 12 and younger).

Tickets are available in advance from the University Box Office in the Iowa Memorial Union, 319-335-3041 or toll-free 800-346-4401. The fax number is 319-335-3407. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 5-9 p.m. Sunday.

Any remaining tickets will be placed on sale at the door. In addition to cash and checks, the University Box Office accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.

The Dance Department is part of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
