Toll-Free Number Is Available For EPA Listening Session At UI
A toll-free number now is available for people who would like to register to attend or apply to speak at an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) public listening session on aging and the environment that will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 on the University of Iowa campus. The toll-free number is (866) EPA-AGED, or (866) 372-2433. Online registration is also available at http://www.epa.gov/aging/agenda. The registration deadline is April 8.
Because of space limitations, individuals who want to attend or speak must pre-register for the event, which will contribute to a "National Agenda on the Environment and Aging." The listening session will be held in the Second Floor Ballroom of the Iowa Memorial Union (corner of Jefferson and Madison Streets). The event is co-sponsored by the UI College of Public Health, the UI Center on Aging and the Heritage Area Agency on Aging.
For more information, including parking/shuttle service information for the event, see the following news release: http://news-releases.uiowa.edu/2003/march/031003epa-session.html, or contact Lori Benz at the UI Center on Aging at (319) 335-6546 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
