Physicians To Shave Heads To Benefit Pediatric Cancer Patients
WHAT: "Balding for Cancer" head shaving event
WHY: Proceeds from pledged donations will benefit the Children's Miracle Network and patients and families of Children's Hospital of Iowa at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics
WHO: Pediatric cancer patients, who may experience hair loss as a side effect of their treatment, will "turn the tables" when they shave the heads of resident physicians
HOW: Physicians have gathered pledges in returns for agreeing to have their heads shaved by pediatric cancer patients
WHEN: Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m.
