Diversity Discussion Is April 23
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences spring Chautauqua continues Wednesday, April 23, with a discussion on diversity, "Where Are We, Where Are We Going," from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Lecture Room 1, Van Allen Hall. Organized by the college's diversity committee, the program will consist of four panelists speaking for 10 minutes each, leaving plenty of time for questions and discussion.
The panel members are: Frederick Woodard, associate professor of English and African American world studies; Eugene Madison, professor of mathematics; Rex Honey, professor of geography and director of the Global Studies Program; and Scharron Clayton, a UI graduate and an associate professor of philosophy and religion at the University of Northern Iowa.
