IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering to host March 14 lecture on coral reefs
The University of Iowa College of Engineering's IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering
Distinguished Seminar Series will present a Thursday, March 14 lecture on
Jeffrey R. Koseff, senior associate dean in the School of Engineering and
professor of civil and environmental fluid mechanics at Stanford University,
will speak at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14 in Room 127 of the Hydraulics Laboratory
Building. Koseff will discuss his research in the lecture, "Turbulent
Times in a Coral Reef System." He plans to discuss the measurement of
changes in nutrients, carbon and other elements between a coral reef and the
