UI To Host Big Ten Counseling Centers Conference Feb. 13-15
University of Iowa Counseling Service will host the
annual Big Ten Counseling Centers Conference Feb. 13-15 at the Iowa Memorial
The conference, whose theme is "Cultivating Campus
Communities: Creative, Diverse, Strong," will focus on the role counseling
centers play in nurturing their campus communities. Attendees will explore
how Big Ten College Counseling Centers bring diverse groups together to work,
play, and learn. They will also hear about the inventive ways that staff members
support and energize one another.
Phillip E. Jones, UI vice president for student services
and dean of students, will welcome participants. Ann M. Rhodes, UI associate
counsel, will be the keynote speaker.
