IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Craig Logemann, Pharm.D., assistant professor (clinical) in the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, has been named the director of the college's Primary Care Pharmacy Residency Program.

The program focuses on the advanced training of pharmacy graduates. The program is based in family medicine clinics across Iowa and has been around for seven years. There are currently four clinics around the state that are part of this program, located in Iowa City, Waterloo, Sioux City, and Des Moines.

As director, Logemann will coordinate administrative duties, such as recruiting residents for the program, and giving evaluations of current residents. Logemann is one of many UI faculty members who assist in this program.

Logemann, who joined the UI faculty in 1995, received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the UI in 1988 and his doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 1995.
