University of Iowa Health Fair is set for Nov. 7
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa faculty and staff are invited to celebrate
health and wellness by attending this years UI Faculty and Staff Health
The health fair will be held on one day and at a larger location from 7:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 on the Main Deck at the UI Field House.
The UI Health Fair provides the opportunity for UI faculty and staff to
learn about health and wellness, the UI's health care plans, UI Family Care
providers, and a variety of other health-related services on campus. Free
blood pressure and cholesterol testing, as well as health risk assessments,
will be available. There also will be free Shiatsu massage demonstrations
provided by the Shiatsu Clinic and School.
The health fair is sponsored by UI Wellness, UI Health Care, UI Staff Council
and the UI Division of Recreational Services. Individuals with disabilities
are encouraged to attend all UI-sponsored events. If you are a person with
