Department of electrical and computer engineering hosts distinguished lecturer

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Steve Pizer, Kenan Professor of Computer Science, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, is visiting the University of Iowa as a distinguished lecturer Nov. 4-7.

Among the various specialized seminars and tutorials he is presenting is a 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 graduate level seminar, "Statistical Characterization and Discrimination of the Geometry of Medical Objects," in Room N104, Lindquist Center.
