Everett accepted to Wharton Fellows Program
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The director of nursing services and patient care and
chief nursing officer at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will attend
an elite educational program for nurse executives at The Wharton School, University
Linda Q. Everett, Ph.D., associate director at UI Hospitals and Clinics,
recently received notification of her acceptance into the Johnson & Johnson
Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives.
"It is indeed an honor to have this opportunity to continue my education
in health care management," said Everett. "Im looking forward
to learning with my peers in such an outstanding program."
The internationally recognized program provides study and dialogue on health
care strategy, strategic design, management and financial planning. There
will be 39 chief nursing officers participating in the 2001 program.
