Women's Center sponsors 'Succulent Wild Women'
Women will be encouraged to explore their wild sides this summer in a group
called "Succulent Wild Women," sponsored by the Women's Resource
and Action Center at the University of Iowa. The group will discuss Sark's
book "Succulent Wild Women," a commentary on the freedoms and boundaries
of women in our society.
Participants will explore and expand their creativity through the planning
of simple but extraordinary adventures for the group. Anything is possible
-- from holding midnight teas to writing poetry to dancing under the moon.
"Succulent Wild Women" will meet on Thursday evenings from 7 to
8:30 p.m. for six weeks, beginning June 21. The group size is limited, and
attendance is required for every session. The group will meet at the Center
at 130 N. Madison Street.
