New physician joins Deer Creek Health Center in Toledo

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- James Henderson, M.D., who specializes in providing primary care services to people of all ages, has joined Deer Creek Family Care at Deer Creek Health Center in Toledo.

Henderson, board-eligible in family medicine, will begin practicing at Deer Creek Health Center Aug. 1. He received his medical degree in 1998 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

"My family and I are happy to be in the community," Henderson said. "I am excited to begin my practice at Deer Creek Health Center."

"We are very pleased that Dr. Henderson is joining the Deer Creek Family Care team," said Andy Bagnall, administrator of Deer Creek Health Center. "He is a welcome addition and is very committed to providing health care to the people of Tama, Toledo and surrounding areas."

An open house welcoming Henderson will be held at a later date.
