UI Health Care to offer free cholesterol screenings July 23 at Johnson County Fair

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa Health Care will offer free non-fasting cholesterol screenings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 23 at the Johnson County Fair.

The CHAMPS (Cardiovascular Health Assessment Management and Prevention Services) Program will offer the 10-minute screenings that include a discussion of the results with a CHAMPS staff member. Fasting is not required.

Appointments are not necessary. Screenings will be done on a drop-in, first-come, first-served basis.
