Box Office distributes Coretta Scott King lecture tickets Thursday

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Tickets for the Coretta Scott King Distinguished Lecture hosted by the University of Iowa Lecture Committee will be handed out to UI students, staff, and faculty, beginning Thursday, March 1 at the University Box Office in the Iowa Memorial Union.

On Friday, March 2, tickets will be available to the general public. Tickets for both groups will be limited to two per person. Approximately 900 tickets are expected to be given away for
Mrs. King's lecture, which takes place at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 in the Main Lounge of the IMU.

The lecture will be broadcast closed circuit and shown in the Second Floor Ballroom of the IMU in case of an overflow crowd.

The UI Lecture Committee invites prominent persons from a range of backgrounds, ideas, and opinions to guest lecture at the UI to enhance the campus learning environment.
