UI Arts Share co-directors will present holiday performance Dec. 22

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa Arts Share program will present a free holiday performance by the Yin Duo at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22 in the Old Capitol Town Center. The duo, soprano Diane Kenney and pianist Leslie Finer, will perform holiday classics.

Kenney, who studied voice at Milliken University and Boston University, sings in a variety of genres and currently offers a program in American musical and big-band standards. Finer received her master's degree in piano performance at Southern Methodist University, and is a doctoral candidate in musicology at the UI. They are co-directors of the Arts Share program.

The UI Arts Share program provides artistic resources from the Iowa Center for the Arts to schools and community organizations. The 2001 Arts Share roster includes more than 70 faculty and graduate students in music, theater, dance, the visual arts and creative writing.
