Dec. 18 "Coffee Break" session at UI Hospitals and Clinics moved
to new location
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The "Coffee Break" session originally scheduled
from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in the East Room on the 8th level
of the John Colloton Pavilion at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics
will take place at the same date and time, but in a new location.
Robert Summers, M.D., will present "Inflammatory Bowel Disease - Take
One Worm and Call Me in the Morning" in the Braley Conference Room on
the lower level of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion. To reach the new location,
use the Hawkins Drive entrance to enter Parking Ramp 4. Do not use the Melrose
Avenue entrance. Proceed to the second level of Parking Ramp 4 and take the
skyway to the Pomerantz Family Pavilion. Staff members will be stationed at
the skyway entrance to direct you to the Braley Conference Room.
Summers is a professor of internal medicine and the clinical director of
the UI Center for Digestive Diseases. He will discuss pioneering research
that is breaking new ground in the treatment of severe inflammatory bowel
disorders such as Crohn's disease and colitis.
