Cancer prevention booklet available at UI
The Cancer Information Service in the Holden Comprehensive
Cancer Center at the University of Iowa is releasing the third edition of
a special booklet about cancer prevention.
Titled "Cancer Prevention: What You Need to Know," the
booklet provides pertinent information about what can be done to decrease
your personal risk of developing cancer, including nutritional advice, avoiding
exposure to cancer-causing agents and screening tests. Also, for the first
time, the booklet includes a listing of Web sites devoted to cancer prevention.
The booklet is available free of charge, but the supply
is limited. You may request copies by calling the Cancer Information Service
toll free at (800) 237-1225 or (319) 356-4262, or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
