ISU's Kirschenmann to deliver talk April 27
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Fred Kirschenmann, director of the Leopold Center for
Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University, will present the program,
"Can a New Vision for Agriculture Serve the Economy, the Ecology and
the Community?" at 1 p.m. Friday, April 27 in Montgomery Hall on the
Johnson County Fairgrounds.
A free lunch featuring locally grown foods will be served at noon. The talk
is open to the public and requires no sign-up. Seating for the luncheon is

The University of Iowa Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination,
the UI Environmental Health Sciences Research Center, the Johnson County Soil
and Water Conservation District and Iowa's Center for Agricultural Safety
and Health will sponsor the event.
