will be on campus Thursday, Sept. 28 to meet with students at the University
of Iowa's 24th annual Careers Day.
Careers Day will be from noon to 5 p.m. Employers targeting a variety of
majors will be in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU), while
employers targeting engineering and technology majors will be in the Second

Students can consider major national employers such as Kraft, Qwest Communications,
Microsoft, the Mayo Clinic, IBM, Proctor and Gamble, and General Mills. Several
Iowa-based companies including Pella Corporation, Principal Financial Group
and Rockwell Collins will be at the Career Fair, as well as governmental agencies

"Students seeking full-time employment or internships should be in
business attire for the event," advised Jayne Swanson, UI placement specialist.
"Before the Careers Day, students also should do some research and know
something about the companies they are interested in. All attending companies
are listed on our webpage at http://www.biz.uiowa.edu/placemnt."
