IPAS 26th Annual Fall Continuing Medical Education Conference will be Oct. 25-27

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Iowa Physician Assistant Society (IPAS) will hold its 26th Annual Fall Continuing Medical Education Conference Oct. 25-27 at the Collins Plaza Hotel and Convention Center, 1200 Collins Rd. NE, in Cedar Rapids.

The purpose of the conference is to provide current information for physician assistants, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and students on various medical issues.

Physicians and physician assistants from around the state, including 15 physicians from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, will lead a number of presentations and workshops. Additional special events will include an awards banquet, blood drive and comedy night.

Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 25, 7:45 a.m. on Oct 26 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct 27. Prices vary depending on affiliation and are as follows for the entire conference: IPAS members or out-of-state American Association of Physician Assistant members, $240; non-members, $365; student IPAS members, $35 and student non-members, $60. Participants may also attend selected days for a specified daily price.
